Former Band Member ZOON ZEST - He is a direct descendant of Sinbad the Sailor, this soon becomes obvious when you manage to get your head around his mastery of all things rhythmic. It is obvious that the constant, never ending crashing of sea against the bow of a pirate ship has led to the mystery of percussion being handed down over generations from his great great great grandfather - Sinbad. If you need to find Zoon on a Friday you need wander no further than Seeb beach, where you will find him selling his collection of Sri Lankan sea shells and other marine products, to fishermen and tourists alike. The SAD departure of Zoon Zest - how it was announced. He played his last at the beginning of July, before he left for Japan.  The land of the rising sun has gained a true whistling percussionist - he will be sadly missed....cheers Zoon.

It was rumoured in the Omani music press that Zoon Zest is to leave the band. In an exclusive interview with this web site he has opened his heart, for the sake of his fans. "Its true," said an emotional Zest, "I cannot keep it a secret any more".   When pushed further Zest added, "I have fallen in love, my new bride and I are going to run away to Japan at the first opportunity". He also admitted to being tired of the constant touring and longed for some time away from the non-stop, repetitive, endless percussion that has been his life. Rumour of Zests' replacement have already started circulating, no front runner has been identified, but some bets have been placed on Casper L'Turnip.
